OC Ref - Zaus (Phinian)

Someday I'll learn how to draw feet properly, I promise. Someday........

My pen&paper rp character Zaus.
In one adventure we played he actually aged about 10 years, however this reference is based on his history before any rp happenings ever, to keep him as blank as possible.

Also his below mentioned mentor, Flinte, is actually my first pen&paper rp character, thought it would be nice to connect the two in some way. c:

Name: Phinian aka Zaus

Gender: male

Age: about 19 give or take. He doesn’t keep track

Height: 1.57m (he’s rather short)

Weight: 48kg (and rather light)

Occupation: thief

 

Personality: cheeky, keeps a lot to himself (his occupation for example), loyal once you gaine his trust

 

Other trivia: doesn’t really have a place to call home, you can tell where he spent the last night by the stuff stuck in his hair, suffers from necrophobia, also has a petrifying fear of oceans and other bigger bodies of water, an apple a day usually keeps him fed

Biography: Phinian was born on an eastern island far off the main continent of Aventurica.
When he was about 4 years old his parents both died of the same desease, so the boy soon ended up on the street.
Before worse could happen to him he was picked up by a small group of street children led by Flinte, a young thief who soon became Phinian’s mentor and gave him the nickname “Zaus” (zaus is basically a German syllable to describe messy hair or fur), due to his untamable hair.

Few years later a travelling merchant visits the island to sell some wares. He comes in contact with the group of children and decides to offer them to take them to the main continent (where their chances of having a life with better perspectives are much higher) in exchange for work.

They agree and all board the ship which takes them to a port town at the eastcoast of the main continent.
Before docking however a tsunami rolls over the town and the ship, tearing it apart.

12 year old Zaus awakens in a village nearby to the port town they originally had set sail to.
A few survivors had evacuated said town to the village, taking some injured and unconcious people with them.

Seperated from his group Zaus started to make a living on his own with the thieving skills he had learned from his mentor.
He travels from town to town in hope of not being held responsible for his countless minor crimes and maybe find someone from his group again someday.
