Richard and Sophie

Richard: What are you doing?
Sophie: I'm playing. The other children say it's fun. Am I doing it wrong?
Richard: It's a good start, I suppose.


After having a short conversation about ToG with The-cannibal-sheep (whom you should totally check out!) I had the sudden urge to draw some Richard fanart.
It's actiually kind of weird that I didn't do so sooner since ToG is probably my favourite Tales of and Richard my favourite Tales of character ever.

This was originally intended as just a quick sketch, but once I was done with that I thought to myself that I could clean the sketch, and maybe colour it, maybe shade it, maybe set some highlights, maybe make a quick background, maybe add some more lighting effects to that then, maybe use a texture, maybe make a frame for it..... OTL

But I'm rather happy with the result and might draw more Tales of at one point. Because the designs are fucking awesome in my opinion.
